Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Provision of Nursing Care to meet the individual patient needs by utilizing the nursing process 
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
Knowledge, experience and interest in working with Geriatric and cognitively impaired patients 
Knowledge and experience in Post-op Surgical Care would be an as asset
Demonstrates effective clinical competency and critical thinking.
Demonstrates and understands the nursing process
CPR certification.
Accucheck Machine certification 
Proven ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team. 
Ability to perform Charge Nurse responsibilities.
High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients.
Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with patients, families, staff, physicians and the general public.
