Job Description

 1 Muirhouse Avenue, Edinburgh EH4 4PL 
We are looking for a 4 session GP (days to be negotiated but Wednesday and Thursday preferred) starting in September 2026 to cover maternity leave for our GP retainer. 

Muirhouse Medical Group is a friendly and thriving practice with over 20,500 patients, 9 partners and 11 salaried GPs in the north of Edinburgh. We are involved in GP and Foundation training and teaching medical students.

We offer:
Competitive salary of over £11,000 per session plus medical indemnity cover

Friendly and positive team approach GPs meet twice daily for coffee and informal discussions.

Family friendly ethos - GPs generally start at 9am and leave before 6pm each day

Regular educational meetings

Monthly practice social events are organised by our Social Committee
