Job Description

A Technology Sales Specialist (internally called a Brand Sales Specialist) within Automation helps clients reduce repetitive work and improve decision-making, highlighting IBM’s AI‑powered solutions. The role involves building long‑term relationships with VP and C‑level contacts and acting as a strategic advisor for account strategy and sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships, define IBM’s value proposition, and engage key decision‑makers.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, expanding new business opportunities and collaborating with IBM Sales Specialists, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales, and Consultants.
  • Sell the Automation portfolio in the territory, focusing on IBM App & B2B Integration products such as IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration, Cloud Pak for Integration, API Connect, Sterling B2B/MFT, Aspera and MQ.
