The company currently has a vacant position for a Sales Engineer – Marine and Rail, to be based in Johannesburg.
Objective of Job
Drive sales growth in the rail and marine sectors by identifying opportunities, presenting technical solutions and managing key customer relationships.
Provide expert engineering support that translate customer requirements into viable Electrical/Mechanical solutions and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Performance Areas & Duties
Sales & Business Development
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the rail and marine sectors.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals to customers, consultants, and OEMs.
Prepare and present commercial offers, quotations, and bids in accordance with customer requirements and company strategy.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive proactive sales strategies.
