Job Description
As a Sales Engineer, you will sit at the critical intersection of engineering, trust and safety, and customer success. You will be responsible for ensuring that as client processes 40,000+ daily transactions, the platform remains safe from fraud, collusion, and high-risk activity. This is a player-coach role (90% IC, 10% Lead) for a technical expert who thrives in a 0-to-1 startup environment.
What You Will Do
- Guard the Platform: Moderate transactions for chargeback risk, seller/buyer fraud, and collusion. Make critical decisions on fund holds, refunds, and seller onboarding reserves.
- Build Infrastructure: Own the KYC (Know Your Customer) and payout flows. Your goal is to make these extensible via public APIs that can be embedded or linked.
- Content Moderation: Fight spam and scams within DMs...
