Sales Estimator

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Sales Estimator is responsible for accurately determining all the cost of a project, and for preparing cost estimates by analyzing the relevant requirements. He/she must understand the customer specification and help the sales team to create a proposal and track the costs of a project.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally to facilitate projects
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff and clients
