Responsible for driving DGN acceptance growth, through a direct to merchant sales approach, in key verticals within Mexico. The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive DGN acceptance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI’s in acceptance.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Major Responsibilities
- Identifies leads, develops proposals, responds to RFPs and negotiates agreements to Mexico merchants to maximize network acceptance. Strong negotiation skills to close deals.
- Strategically identifies and creates innovative business cases to win new merchant acceptance deals with internal stakeholder buy-in (Pricing, Risk, AML, etc...).
