VACANCY: SALTPAN MANAGER (Reference: SPM26)

The Donald Brown Group, a leading name in the salt industry, is seeking a dynamic Saltpan Manager to join our team in Velddrif. We are looking for a well-organised individual who is eager and willing to help grow and expand the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Manage the team of two (2) employees on site.

· Ensure the saltpans get water as required and requested by management.

· Measure salt growth and estimate tonnages.

· Take Baume measurements at various locations.

· Report on all measurements.

· Ensure the harvest of salt is done timeously to ensure quick turnaround time.

· Report on any issues on-site with salt production or employees.

· Maintenance of all saltpan infrastructures.

· Keep all safety files up to date.

Knowledge, Skills, and Personality

· Any relevant work experience in a supervisory role will be an advantage.
