Job Description
The purpose of this job is to ensure that pattern inspections are conducted by the Quality Department and not within production processes. The role will strengthen alignment between input and output inspections while modernizing the pattern inspection process to meet current standards and efficiency targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of patterns to ensure accuracy and usability. Use traditional measuring equipment (calipers, rulers, micrometers, gauges) for routine checks.
Assist in operating 3D scanning equipment to verify pattern dimensions against CAD models.
Record inspection results clearly and submit reports to the Chief Inspector. Check that the latest approved drawings are used during inspection.
Identify visible damage, wear, or defects on patterns before release to production.
