About The Team
The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of sanctions screening activities, including OFAC and information-sharing alerts, ensuring alerts are reviewed, resolved, and documented in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Act as a key escalation point for potential true matches, complex cases, and judgement calls, partnering closely with Compliance, Legal, and relevant business stakeholders.
