Sanitary Engineer

Common Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Creating plans for water distribution, sewage systems, and wastewater treatment plants.
• Project Management: Overseeing the installation of sanitary, plumbing, and fire protection systems in construction.
• Compliance & Inspection: Ensuring projects meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintenance: Managing, inspecting, and repairing existing sanitary facilities.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Sanitary Engineering (BSSE) or equivalent.
• Licensure: Registered Sanitary Engineer (often with Master Plumber license).
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
• Experience: 1–5+ years in design or construction, particularly in MEPFS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Sanitary) systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and risk assessment abilities.
