SAQCC Fire Detection Technician

A dynamic company is seeking a SAQCC Fire Detection Technician (Pipe Fitting Experience) to install, service, test, and maintain fire detection and fire protection systems in accordance with SAQCC , SANS standards , and company quality and safety requirements, with a strong focus on pipe fitting and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain fire detection systems (addressable and conventional)

• Carry out fire protection pipe fitting including cutting, threading, grooving, and installing steel, copper, and CPVC piping

• Install and maintain detectors, panels, cabling, and related fire equipment

• Conduct testing, commissioning, fault-finding, and system handovers

• Ensure compliance with SANS 10139, SANS 1475, SANS 10400-T , and SAQCC regulations
