Originally founded as the School of Medical Sciences in 1926, the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan has come a long way from its humble beginnings. Eighty eight years later, the College of Medicine provides a full range of academic programming including undergraduate and post-graduate medical training, physical therapy and undergraduate and graduate programming in the Biomedical Sciences.

The Saskatchewan Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Research Chair arose through the combined vision and efforts of the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation, the MS Society of Canada, the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation and the citizens of Saskatchewan in the fight against MS.
