Job Responsibilities





The Satellite Communications Technician position will provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of a teleport site. The Satellite Communications Technician (OR) will perform the following tasks:





+ Provide communication and non-communications functions as set forth in this PWS for full time (24 hours/day, 7 days/week) support for the DoD Gateway Systems, earth terminals with associated shelters.



+ Be responsible for the management, personnel training, operation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, monitoring, reporting, and operation and preventive maintenance.



+ Meet all identified response and restoral times.



+ Abide by all local labor laws and regulations.
