Job Description
The successful candidate will lead and optimise the Sabie sawmill value chain by integrating process, financial, analytical, engineering, and wood science expertise to maximise recovery, throughput, quality, and safety, while maintaining accountability for financial performance including P&L delivery and EBITDA optimisation within a sustainable and compliant operating environment.
Key Performance Areas:
Drive fibre optimisation, recovery improvement, and production throughput performance.
Equipment availability and production uptime through effective operational management and maintenance alignment.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and enforce operational standards and SOP compliance.
Manage cost performance, inventory control, and productivity efficiency.
Develop workforce capability, engagement, and performance management practices.
