Description
We are looking for an experienced SBA Underwriter to support loan evaluation and credit review activities for a remote Contract position. This role focuses on assessing SBA 7(a) loan opportunities, reviewing borrower financials, and producing clear credit recommendations that align with established lending standards. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to work closely with processing and closing partners to move transactions forward efficiently.


Responsibilities:


• Review SBA 7(a) loan files and perform thorough credit analysis to determine overall transaction quality and lending viability.

• Examine and spread applicant financial statements, tax records, and supporting business documentation to assess repayment capacity and risk exposure.
