Job Description

THE ROLEThe Scheduler has a vital role in scheduling the supervision and transportation of children to and from their family contact. All work is undertaken within the framework of Child Protection legislation, practice guidelines and best interest principles.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

* OrganisationReferrals: accept screened Child Protection referrals from the Family Contact and Support Unit (FC&S) Team Manager for cases where a FC&S Case Support Worker is required to facilitate a transport and/or contact between children and their families. Allocate referrals to case support workers, whilst ensuring resources are also booked, such as access rooms, cars etc.
* Engaging othersCollaboration: engages well with families, practitioners and teams, agencies, services and the community to effectively facilitate transports and contacts.
