School Bus Monitor 2026-2027 School Year

The District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Bus Monitor for the 2026-2027 school year.

A School Bus Monitor works under the supervision of the Bus Driver and Transportation Department to help ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school and other approved destinations. The position requires monitoring student behavior, assisting students as needed, and supporting safe bus operations.

Responsibilities Include:


+ Monitor students during transportation to ensure safe and appropriate behavior at all times.

+ Assist with the safe loading and unloading of students.

+ Verify student use of seat belts and assist with securing or removing restraints as needed.

+ Maintain attendance and ridership records and assign seating when necessary.

+ Support students with special needs and assist individuals with disabilities as required.
