School Caretaker

Role Overview

We are looking for a School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, meet SLA agreements and adhere to cleaning schedules.

Contract: Newbury College. Type: Permanent. Hours: 37.5 hours. Pay: £13.73 p/h.

Role Responsibilities

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
