Job Summary

Serve as the coordinator of the health services program and provide nursing care. School nursing practice requires the combination of professional clinical nursing practice with a specialized component that promotes the health, well-being, academic achievement, and success of the school-age student. The school nurse will also protect and promote the optimal health of the staff.

Qualifications

• Certified in CPR or BLS (or will obtain in the first 12 months of hire)
• Professional liability insurance throughout employment
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of direct patient care clinical experience
