Position: Science Instructor for Grades 1-5 Schedule: 7:30-4:00 Monday-Thursday, 7:30-2:00 Friday Job Summaryh3 The Science Instructor will assist students in understanding and applying scientific concepts and skills, cultivate an appreciation of science in everyday life, prepare students for success in middle and high school science programs, present students with experiences that promote and develop a growth mindset, and equip students to be problem solvers who can communicate and reason scientifically. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will hold a single-subject credential in either Life or Physical science and have expertise in a range of elementary and/or middle school science courses. Those courses include, but are not limited to, Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science. Additional experience in STEM-related classes is desired and will be given strong consideration.
