Position Summary

The Science Laboratory In-Charge ensures the efficient management, safety, and compliance of all science laboratory facilities. The role supports quality instruction and upholds institutional standards aligned with academic excellence and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prescribe and implement policies on the proper use, maintenance, and safekeeping of laboratory equipment and supplies.
Establish procedures for reporting, replacement, and accountability of lost or damaged materials.
Supervise the issuance and disposal of laboratory materials and equipment.
Maintain an updated and accurate inventory of all laboratory equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety standards and environmental regulations.
Support academic programs by ensuring laboratories are organized, safe, and instruction-ready.
