About the role

Mater Pathology are currently recruiting Scientific Assistants to join our team. These roles are based at our South Brisbane campus and offered as 12‑month maximum‑term, working full‑time positions. To be eligible, applicants must have full availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster.

As a Scientific Assistant you will work cooperatively with colleagues within Mater Pathology to process clinical specimens and assist medical and scientific staff in the preparation of specimens for examination. The laboratory areas that you may be rostered in include Central Specimen Reception (CSR), Haematology and Transfusion.
