Scientific Coordination & Operations Intern (Part-time Internship)

Context

The Pasqual Maragall Foundation was created in 2008 with the mission of promoting and developing excellence in biomedical research. The Foundation is fully committed to contributing decisively to global solutions for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, while also raising social awareness about these conditions.

Research activities are conducted at the Barcelonaβeta Brain Research Center (BBRC), a research institution established with the participation of Pompeu Fabra University and the la Caixa Foundation.

Our vision is to achieve a future free from Alzheimer's disease within the framework of healthy and active ageing. To accomplish this, BBRC's research focuses on the primary and secondary prevention of Alzheimer's disease, made possible thanks to the participation of thousands of volunteers who contribute to scientific studies aimed at reducing the impact of dementia in future generations.
