The Institute of Mine Seismology is seeking to fill a permanent position in the Science & Technology sector at IMS in Somerset West (40km from Cape Town). After 1 year, there would be the possibility of working out of our Australian office. We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our development team to design, develop, maintain and support a Java based system for seismological services. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as good communication skills.
