The Bischofberger Lab investigates the cellular and circuit mechanisms underlying learning, memory, and cognitive plasticity in the hippocampus. Environmental enrichment and physical exercise induce complex interactions with environment and conspecifics and are promising interventions for memory deficits and dementia.
