Scientist (AA Lab), SIgN

The successful candidate will support Dr. Anand Andiappan in research work that focuses on studying the immune dysregulation and barrier dysfunction associated with inflammatory skin disorders. The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding functional immune responses in skin immune interactions. Additional work involves cellular and stimulation assays with flow cytometry and FACS analysis along with imaging by microscopy, and associated data analysis with statistical tested.
Duties will include managing safety in the laboratory, creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and laboratory risk assessments, maintaining laboratory inventories, perform other laboratory administrative duties and operations such as ordering and tracking laboratory budget.
