Scientist (Research Optical/ 6 months contract)

Responsibilities

• To support research in quantum imaging using induced coherence.
• Work under the direction of senior researchers to design, build, and align optical setups involving nonlinear crystals and interferometry.

Requirements

• Aligning free-space optics such as interferometers
• Modelling free-space optics using ray- s matrices.
• Nonlinear optical processes such as spontaneous parametric down conversion, or second harmonic generation.
