Scientist (RNA Biology and Therapeutics)
A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and ResearchJob Description
The Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) is seeking an ambitious Research Fellow in RNA Biology and Therapeutics to lead and drive cutting‑edge research on inflammation‑driven long non‑coding RNA function in human diseases and RNA‑based therapeutic development. This position is offered in the Laboratory of Inflammation, Epigenetics and Translational Oncology which is interested in understanding the mechanisms of metastasis and treatment resistance in aggressive cancers during inflammation signalling. The laboratory integrates approaches in cancer biology, epigenetics and RNA biology to study the progression and therapeutic responses of human malignancies and identify novel therapeutic strategies. We focus on the discovery and characterization of novel oncology targets including long non‑coding RNAs and epigenomics signatures in various solid and haematological malignancies, with a mission to catalyze a path towards targeted cancer treatments.
