**Description**

The Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE) is seeking candidates for the position of Scientist in the Omega Experiments Group to perform research and development of novel x-ray and/or nuclear diagnostics and to lead experiments in inertial confinement fusion (ICF), nuclear physics, and/or related high energy density physics (HEDP) experiments on the OMEGA, OMEGA EP, and future laser facilities that are currently in planning stages.
