Job Description

The A*STAR Skin Research Labs (Skin Omics group) is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist with expertise in metabolomics and lipidomics to lead and support analytical research on skin metabolism. The successful candidate will work with state-of-the-art LC-MS platforms to profile, quantify, and interpret lipid and metabolite signatures from skin and microbiome systems, contributing to the discovery of novel bioactive compounds and metabolic pathways.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop the method, optimise and execute metabolomics and lipidomics experiments using LC-MS/MS techniques (targeted and untargeted). 
Perform data processing, statistical analysis, and metabolite identification using specialised software tools. 
Interpret complex lipidomic datasets to elucidate biochemical mechanisms relevant to skin biology.
