Role Summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile/Scrum practices within one or more cross-functional teams. The role focuses on enabling high-performing teams by coaching Agile principles, removing impediments, fostering collaboration, and ensuring continuous improvement while delivering value to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles
Remove impediments and blockers that impact team delivery
Protect the team from external disruptions and scope creep
Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritization
Track and report on team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput)
Promote continuous improvement and a culture of accountability
