Seasonal Birddog Pilot with MAG Aerospace

Protect communities as a Seasonal Birddog Pilot with MAG Aerospace Canada for the 2026 fire season. Collaborate with firefighting teams to manage aerial operations and respond effectively to wildfires.
This full-time position is based in Maniwaki or Val-d'Or. As a Birddog Pilot, you will operate an Aero Commander 500 and work alongside an Air Attack Officer. Your role is essential in coordinating aerial efforts and managing airspace for strategic wildfire response across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage airspace with Air Attack Officers
• Coordinate aerial and ground firefighting teams
• Operate from assigned bases or deployed locations
• Monitor and respond to wildfire escalations
• Ensure safety in aerial firefighting missions
Requirements:
• Bilingual in French and English
• Valid CPL and Multi-Engine Rating
• Over 1,000 hours of flight experience
• 100+ hours as Pilot in Command
• 50+ hours of Instrument flying experience
