**Job Description**

The deckhand is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by assisting guests, appropriately maintaining the dock area, cleaning, and restocking vessels, and providing general customer service.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Cleans and maintains docks and public areas to ensure safety and satisfaction of guests and staff.
+ Ensure customers understand boating safety
+ Cleans interior and exterior of vessel to ensure safety and satisfaction of guests
+ Restocks, maintains, and prepares vessels for guests
+ Greet customers and assist with inquiries or concerns
+ Asist with ticket verification, headcounts, or light retail/snack service if required
+ Assist crew with mooring and line handling
+ Report mechanical issues, safety hazards, or passenger incidents to the captain
+ Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor towards guests, clients, and co-workers
