Seasonal Maintenance Worker

Summary The primary purpose of the position is to perform recurring building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties and to assist journeymen and other higher graded maintenance workers. Incumbent utilizes knowledge and skills in several trades and crafts. The duties described by this position may not fully meet the type of work to be performed or there may be work that this position does not do in each of the specialties; however, if the general intent is met then this position is appropriate. Responsibilities Position will assist in the trade's areas of carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and masonry depending on project. The selectee of this position leads a crew of lower-level co-workers (laborers) involved in the construction, repair, and upkeep of government facilities, buildings, boundary fences, roads, culverts, corrals and trails.
