Seat Design- Product Engineer

Need candidates for Location – Nagoya, Japan Should serve as the lead technical expert for complete seat design programs at the customer site. Coordinate all engineering activities related to complete seat design, including styling integration, packaging, ergonomics, safety, comfort and manufacturing feasibility. Drive technical discussions and decisions with the customer's engineering teams, styling and manufacturing departments. Guide and mentor a team of design and development engineers (offshore) to ensure adherence to technical specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and technical problem-solving sessions. Ensure designs comply with relevant automotive regulations (e.g., ECE, FMVSS) and internal customer standards.
