Secondary English Teacher

Secondary English teachers will teach MS or HS students grades 7-12 in English instruction. Students are divided into regular and honors levels, including literature, composition, and oral language. Top students prepare for AP language exams. All classes (except daily Spanish classes and a few social studies classes) are taught in English. Weekly chapel or small groups support the biblical emphasis. All students participate in service projects and missions to learn about their part in the Great Commission. Regular meetings are held with the middle school principal for support and continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned on the master schedule.
• Be informed as to the academic, spiritual and social development of each student.
• Employ those instructional aids, methods and materials that provide for creative teaching.
