Security Architect I

**Description**

As MISO’s **Security Architect I** , you will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure architectures across enterprise systems, applications, and cloud platforms. This role places a strong emphasis on automation, scripting, configuration hardening, and embedding secure-by-design principles across technology teams. You’ll contribute to threat modeling, reference architectures, and the development of repeatable security patterns that improve consistency and reduce risk.

Your responsibilities as our **Security Architect I** include **:**

+ Build and maintain security automation workflows using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
+ Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and cloud provisioning processes.
