Security Dispatcher

_SUMMARY_
Hennepin Healthcare has a current opening for a Security Dispatcher in our Security department. This full-time position will work rotating days, evenings, and nights.
A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (contract/temporary workers and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).
Under general supervision, performs work of routine difficulty in the operation of a central alarm station using computers and various communications equipment, initiating proper response for emergency and non-emergency situations.
_RESPONSIBILITIES_
* Receive emergency and non-emergency calls for security service and medical assistance
* Prioritize calls and initiate appropriate action based on incident type and importance
* Contact police, fire, ambulance in emergency situations and coordinate proper response
