NSHA- Carthage Hospital-Security Guard-Nights- Per Diem (on call)- Various shift- Requisition 9442

Pay Range: $19.64-$25.04*+

This position is primarily 6:45p-7:15a. You will also be rotated to work days as needed on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for policing hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Assists staff with unruly visitors and patients, alleviates facility safety and environmental conditions. Take any intervention with patients, comes from direction of the medical staff, both verbal and nonverbal.

Duties:
+ Periodically tours buildings and grounds, examining doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure and not tampered with
+ Check all hospital doors on an hourly basis.
+ File a completed DAR each shift and email to appropriate directors at the end of each shift.
+ Check physician offices and mobiles at least twice a shift.
