Job Summary

A Security Dog Handler (K9 Handler) is responsible for utilizing a patrol dog to detect, deter, and respond to security threats. Their primary purpose is to protect personnel, premises, and assets by conducting patrols, managing access control, and using the dog's senses to detect intruders or contraband.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and Inspection : Conduct regular foot patrols of premises with a K9 partner to detect unauthorized presence, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
• Access Control : Monitor property entrances, authorize the entrance of people and vehicles, and prevent unauthorized access.
• Incident Response : Utilize the K9 patrol dog in the prevention, investigation, and combating of crime. Respond to alarms and suspicious behavior immediately.
