Security Officer

About the role

Responsible for assisting the Assistant Security Manager in matters pertaining to the overall security of company personnel/officers and premises/facilities.

Key Accountabilities

• Implements security plan for the company and security policies to determine compliance with International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and the Security Management System.
• Identifies and reviews security threats, critical areas that require security presence.
• Conducts ocular inspection of port and Company facilities to assess compliance and to determine areas for improvement.
• Prepares a plan on security response in the event of any security threat and implements the same.
• Liaises and coordinates with Operations on matters pertaining to accidents and breach of security policies and standards.
