Job Summary

The SecuritySystems Technician/Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining electronic security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarms, while providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise. This role involves collaborating with clients to assess needs, delivering end-user training, and managing project execution—including scheduling, estimating, and resource coordination. Travel within Canada may be required, and participation in overtime, after-hours work, and on-call duties is essential. The specialist must uphold high standards of professionalism, safety compliance, and communication with clients, vendors, and team members. Additional responsibilities include reporting project progress to management, and ensuring all work meets industry codes, specifications, and safety regulations.
