Purpose

The Security Technologist
role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and
troubleshooting security systems and equipment. This may include
alarms, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and
other security
technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead
  the design, implementation, and enhancement of Physical Security
  Systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Turnstile, and Face
  Recognition Systems.
• Develop, integrate,
  document, and enforce security standards, procedures, and controls
  across new and existing projects.
• Ensure
  security requirements are embedded during the planning, design,
  renovation, and development stages of facilities and infrastructure
  projects.
• Review and validate system
  integration capabilities, technology solutions, and security risks
  associated with new and existing
  environments.
