Secwepemc Language Teacher 1.0 FTE Term Certain Position The District is seeking a credentialed Indigenous Language Teacher to support K -12 learners throughout the District effective immediately to June 30 , 2026 . Candidates will have an extensive understanding of Indigenous pedagogy, culture and history, the First Peoples Principles of Learning, and Indigenous Worldviews and Perspectives. Th e position includes teaching the Secwepemc Language to students of all ages and support other staff in the knowledge and teaching of the Secwepemc language and culture. Assignment includes 3 locations: Marion Schilling Elementary: At this location, the position includes teaching the Secwepemc language to Grades K-5 on your own and supporting teachers of Grades 6-7. The schedule for this location is based on the schedule for the other locations.
