Self-employed Wok Chef - East Asian Cuisine

We are a restaurant located at the center of the Netherlands, the border between Ede and Lunteren. We are looking for a wok chef to join our kitchen but as the it is a small part of our menu you would have to be able to help the other chefs in their areas when needed. Ideally you would be an all round chef that specialise in east asian food styles.

Tasks

We are looking for a versatile, energetic chef to join our team, specializing in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Indonesian cuisine. While you will be the specialist for the Wok station, your greatest strength is your flexibility: you will move effortlessly throughout the kitchen to ensure the speed of the entire operation. In our high-volume kitchen, we maintain a gold standard of a 10-minute service time per dish. Because our Wok section covers a specific portion of the menu, you will be primarily proactive in supporting the Sushi, Teppanyaki (BOH), and Deep-fry stations to maintain optimal throughput.
