Senior Accountant

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your own book of clients, managing a team of junior bookkeepers, and delivering exceptional client services.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients
• Manage weekly and monthly client communications
• Supervise 1-3 bookkeepers, reviewing their work for accuracy and timeliness
• Perform and review month‑end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Reconcile tax returns to books and records
• Set up and manage cloud‑based accounting systems and integrations
• Identify and recommend process or technology improvements
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within budget
