Senior Accountant

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities, contributing directly to the integrity of the organization’s financial data and processes.

Essential Responsibilities

Core Accounting Functions

• Prepare and reconcile account balances, bank statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain organized and accurate supporting documentation for all accounting records.
• Manage and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and internal accounting policies.
