Senior Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities

• Review working papers, summary schedules (including alphalists and summary lists), and BIR tax returns prior to filing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Review payroll tax, ITR, and financial statements
• Ensure compliance with business permits, PCAB requirements, and PEZA documentation
• Support financial reporting, payroll compliance, and monthly/annual statutory submissions
• Handle client and supplier tax inquiries and stay updated on tax regulations
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to tax and compliance matters
• Coordinate documentation and communication during BIR audits (LOA, NOD, formal letters)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
• CPA holder
• Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience
• Experience handling BIR audits and direct interaction with BIR officers
