Senior Accountant

We’re partnering with an established organization in SE Edmonton to hire a Senior Accountant . This role is a 3 month contract starting immediately with potential for permanency.

This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys owning the month‑end process, working closely with leadership, and contributing to a stable, focused accounting team.

This position is fully in office in SE Edmonton.

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Support year-end audit processes, working closely with external auditors
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
